The filibuster in the U.S. Senate has our government in deadlock. According to a recent poll, 86% of Americans agree that our government is broken. It is time to do something about it and the solution couldn’t be any simpler.

The Massachusetts Senate race between Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown could very well decide the fate of the healthcare reform legislation under consideration by Congress. For the sake of the country, the GOP must pick up this seat.

Healthcare reform has been officially knocked out. Yes, it is out for the count on the floor of the U.S. Senate. If our elected representatives won’t take a stand, it is time to start over and take a new approach. It is either that, or take a stand.
