I love my country. I always have and I always will. However, the country that I love so much is in trouble, grave trouble. As a nation, we have lost our moral compass, developed severe apathy toward our fellow citizens, mortgaged ourselves to the hilt, and become a society of “me first, you last” or, in some cases, “you not at all”. It is a sad state of affairs and the ball, so to speak, is about to circle back on us. Almost daily, I worry if our country will survive; I wonder if we will endure.

After watching Michael Moore’s Capitalism: A Love Story, it is clear our country is at a crossroads. If we don’t do something about it now, the rich are going to bankrupt America. That must not be allowed to happen.

I don’t understand how people can hide who they are and rage against it at the same time. It is the ultimate case of denial. What is up with that? Why deny who you are? Why attack people just like you? I don’t understand.
