Forty years ago today, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed -- and walked -- on the moon. It was a feat equal only to our audacity to reach for the stars. On <a href="http://history.nasa.gov/SP-350/ch-2-1.html" target="_blank">May 25, 1961</a>, President John F. Kennedy said "<em>I believe this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth</em>". On <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_11" target="_blank">July 20, 1969</a>, we did just that.
